| all i want for valentine's day is for my domino and paste magazines to come. i have received a very stylish domino tote, but the february issue has been on newstands for nearly a month, and i have yet to receive it. there was great temptation last week at my dentist's office because, trendy dentist guy that he is, he made sure that the latest issue was in the waiting room. with robert's help, i avoided reading it. i'm hopeful that today will be the day.

So now I have recomendations: Ministries of Mercy - Tim Keller (hearts, sighs, love) On Paradise Drive - David Brooks (one of the only non-fiction writers who makes me giggle aloud) Collected Stories - Flannery O'Connor (obviously) Real Sex - Lauren Winner (not a lame Christian dating book) This album that I've been listening to for the past several months is great. Has anyone heard the stars' girl's solo album? |
